Ms. Baechle is originally from Rochester, NY and has been teaching for seventeen years. The past sseven have been in North Carolina at Franklinton Middle School. Degrees earned include a: B.S. in Secondary English Education, a M.A. in Literary Education B-12, and a M.A. in Special Education 7-12.
Teaching is based upon maintaining a growth mindset and knowing how to meet your students where they're at in terms of strengths and areas of growth. ALL students are capable of achieving success and reaching their full potential.
Music, football, traveling, and quality time with family and friends are additional passions.
The 2026-2027 school year will be one of potential, growth, and discovery as a united front!

Ms. Yau has been teaching in FCS since 2020. Ms. Yau enjoys going hiking and traveling on her free time. Ms. Yau was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, where her family currently resides. Ms. Yau is excited to work with this year's families and students!

Mr. Bennie is originally from Old Forge, Pennsylvania, and brings seventeen years of teaching experience, primarily in math and science, to the classroom. He holds all of his students accountable and responsible while maintaining the belief that every student has the ability to be successful. Mr. Bennie strives to build strong relationships with his students, create a positive classroom environment, and meet the needs of learners at all levels.
A lifelong sports fan, Mr. Bennie is a passionate Notre Dame football supporter. His love of sports extends beyond being a fan, as he has spent many years coaching at the high school level. He coached JV baseball for ten years and coached both JV and varsity basketball in Pennsylvania for more than fifteen years.
Outside of school, Mr. Bennie enjoys spending time with his wife and their three-year-old son. As a family, they enjoy playing outside with their dog, visiting the park, and spending time at the beach.
Mr. Bennie is excited to be part of the FMS team and looks forward to building meaningful relationships and making a positive impact on the students in his classroom.
