Mr. Mitchell is Franklinton Middle's 6th-grade math teacher. Holding a Bachelor's of Science in Economics from Fort Hays State University, his journey has been a blend of academia, sports, and finance. Throughout college, he had the privilege of playing soccer, an experience that instilled in him discipline, teamwork, and a passion for the athletics. Subsequently, he took on the role of a soccer coach for NBT, where he further honed his skills in leadership and mentorship. Prior to embarking on his teaching career, he worked as a financial analyst, sharpening his analytical and problem-solving abilities—skills he is eager to impart to the students of Franklin County.
Outside the classroom, he is an enthusiast of the outdoors and adventure. From surfing to snowboarding, biking to paddle boarding, he believes in the power of active learning and engaging with the world around us. It's his hope that by bringing a wealth of diverse experiences into math lessons, he can make the subject more relatable and engaging for everyone.
He is looking forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact on our next generation of thinkers!

Sharonda Crudup is a Second year ELA teacher but no stranger to the classroom. She has served in education for over 14 years. 1 year of that being with Juvenile Justice. Ms. Crudup has a B.S. Criminal Justice, also Certified to teach Early Childhood Education. A product of Franklin County Schools education makes it even more exciting to be here teaching. Ms.Crudup has a strong passion for working with adolescents. Possessing the same desire to teach each student no matter their past experiences. Ms.Crudup is a mother to 4 active children in school, but she still makes time to support her students in and out of the classroom!

Mr. Calderón was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. After High School and a couple of years of college, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served for 21 years and was stationed in over six different States. Was mobilized and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. During his time in the US ARMY, he worked duties as a Senior Supply Sergeant, Operation Sergeant, Instructor, and Sexual Harassment/Assault Victim Advocate to mention a few. Some of his awards include two Meritorious Service Medals, four Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and The Honorable Order of St. Martin. After retiring from the US ARMY Mr. Calderón moved to North Carolina and worked at the Butner Federal Medical Center in Butner, NC as a Medical Supply Sergeant. After working at Butner FMC he decided to follow a passion of his and by the suggestion of his children, he pursued the vocation of 6th grade Social Studies Teacher at Franklinton Middle School. Mr. Calderón holds degrees of a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Thomas Edison State University, New Jersey; a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling: Marriage and Family, and a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, Virginia. Mr. Calderón is married to Mrs. Jean Bruno, BSN, RN, and has four children, two who are college students, one who is in the US Army, and a Senior at Franklinton High School. They currently reside in Franklinton.
